This is an exclusive invitation to join our 2026 series of curated educational tours. Our only site educational tours we are offering for the 2026 year. We will be doing only four scheduled tours with four partners per tour, only 16 partners will experience this extraordinary journey in 2026.

For the best possible educational experience, all accommodations have been selected at the five star level. Your stay includes three nights in Cape Town, two nights on a Big 5 safari at a private game reserve, and two nights in Johannesburg

Itinerary details

Day 1: Welcome to Johannesburg

From the moment you land, your South African adventure begins with thoughtful touches and impeccable service. Your landing time is expected to be between 10:00 and 12:00, and we will request earlier check ins where possible to ensure your comfort. Upon arrival at O.R. Tambo International Airport, your dedicated host and driver will warmly welcome you and provide a seamless transfer to your luxurious Seven Villas hotel in Johannesburg’s vibrant Sandton district. Take time to relax, freshen up, and settle into your stylish accommodations. In the evening, the journey officially begins with a welcome dinner at 6:30 pm at an African Chiefs Boma restaurant , where you’ll savor mouthwatering cuisine, captivating views, and the rhythm of great African music setting the perfect tone for the incredible experiences ahead..

Day 2: Soweto and Culture

10:00 am – Pick-up from the hotel as the journey continues through the struggles and triumphs of the people when we head to Soweto, the beating heart of South Africa’s political and cultural heritage. Explore Vilakazi Street, once home to Nelson Mandela, and enjoy a guided tour of the Hector Pieterson Memorial Site, honoring the youth who played a pivotal role in the fight against apartheid.

1:00 pm – Lunch at a local Shisa Nyama spot, where you’ll indulge in authentic township cuisine, savoring bold, flavorful dishes in a lively and social setting.

3:00 pm – Amapiano dance classes, immersing you in one of South Africa’s most exciting music and dance movements.

5:00 pm – Return to the hotel to unwind and freshen up. For those feeling adventurous, step out later to experience Johannesburg’s buzzing nightlife and Amapiano culture. Some drinks on us!

Day 3: Johannesburg to Waterberg Private Game Reserve

8:00 am – Breakfast at the hotel and time to check out.

9:00 am – Depart Johannesburg and journey to your safari lodge in the private game reserve of the Waterberg.

1:00 pm – Arrival at the lodge, check in to your elegant accommodations, and take time to relax while soaking in the beauty of your natural surroundings.

3:30 pm – Set off on your first guided safari game drive with expert rangers, exploring the African bush and encountering wildlife such as elephants and fascinating beetles.

7:00 pm – Return to the lodge for a delicious dinner enjoyed under the stars.

Day 4: Safari Bush Relaxation

5:30 am – Early wake up call from your host, followed by a meet up in the lobby for a warm cup of tea.

6:00 am – Depart for a thrilling morning safari, exploring the wild beauty of the bush with a scenic stop to stretch your legs and enjoy tea surrounded by nature.

9:00 am – Return to the lodge for a delicious, hearty breakfast.

3:30 pm – Prepare for and depart on your afternoon safari, encountering more of Africa’s incredible wildlife.

7:00 pm – Return to the lodge for a delectable dinner, sharing stories and highlights from an unforgettable day.

Day 5: From Safari to Cape Town

5:30 am – Early wake-up call and depart for your final morning game drive, enjoying breathtaking sunrise views and last wildlife sightings.

8:30 am – Return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast and time to freshen up.

10:00 am – Check out and bid farewell to the safari lodge, then transfer to Johannesburg.

2:30 pm – Arrive at the airport and check in for your flight to Cape Town.

4:30 pm – Depart Johannesburg for Cape Town.

6:45 pm – Arrive in Cape Town and transfer to your luxurious 5-star hotel in the heart of the city. Check in and unwind.

8:00 pm – Head out for a special dinner at one of Cape Town’s vibrant hotspots, enjoying traditional dishes, lively entertainment, and the city’s unmistakable energy. Later, for those interested, join your host to explore the buzzing Cape Town nightlife and feel the rhythm of the city after dark.

Day 6: Table Mountain 

7:30 am – Breakfast at your hotel to start the day energized.

8:30 am – Depart for Table Mountain. Choose to hike up or take the scenic cable car, both offering breathtaking views along the way.

9:00 am – 12:00 pm – Explore the summit of Table Mountain. Enjoy 360-degree panoramas of Cape Town, the Atlantic Ocean, the Twelve Apostles, Robben Island, and the distant winelands. Wander the walking paths and take advantage of perfect photo opportunities.

12:30 pm onwards – Return to the hotel or nearby areas, with the rest of the afternoon at your leisure to relax, explore the city, or enjoy optional activities.

These  are few of many optional activities that are not included in the package but can be enjoyed at your leisure throughout the day:

  • Adventure Options:

    • Quad biking across the white sand dunes.

    • Hike to the top of Lion’s Head for panoramic views.

    • Paragliding experience from Signal Hill.

    • Shark cage diving for thrill seekers.

  • Relaxed Pace Options:

    • Scenic helicopter ride over Cape Town.

    • Stroll and explore the vibrant V&A Waterfront.

    • Discover local treasures at Greenmarket Square.

    • Optional trip to Cape Point and the Cape Peninsula to see African Penguins.

  • Evening Options

    • Sundowner boat cruise with a drink in hand.

    • Watch Cape Town’s breathtaking sunset over the Atlantic Ocean.

Day 7: Cape Town - Wine Tour

 

8:00 am – Enjoy breakfast at the hotel to start your day.

9:00 am – Depart for a full-day wine tour of the Cape Winelands.

 

Between 9:30 am and 4:00 pm – Visit four unique wine estates, sampling exquisite South African wines. Enjoy behind-the-scenes cellar tours, meet the winemakers, and learn about the winemaking process. Savor local delicacies paired with wines while taking in the breathtaking vineyard views.

At 4:30 pm – Return to the hotel for some relaxation and leisure time.

At 7:30 pm – Enjoy a memorable farewell dinner, a culinary celebration marking the end of your South African journey.

Day 8: Departure Day

 

After a final breakfast at the hotel, bid farewell to Cape Town as you check-out and transfer to the airport for your departure flight, concluding your unforgettable journey through South Africa.
