Day 1: Arrival in Johannesburg

Arrive at O.R. Tambo International Airport and enjoy a seamless transfer to your luxurious 5-star hotel in Sandton, Johannesburg’s vibrant upscale district. Take some time to unwind, freshen up, and settle into your stylish accommodations. In the evening, kick off your South African adventure with a welcome dinner at an African Sandton restaurant, where you’ll be treated to delicious cuisine and captivating views and great African music, setting the tone for an incredible journey ahead.

Day 2: Cultural and Historical Exploration of Johannesburg

Today, immerse yourself in the rich history and culture of Johannesburg. Start the day with a visit to the Constitutional Hill, a moving and insightful journey through South Africa’s past struggles and triumphs. Afterward, head to Soweto, the birthplace of many political and cultural icons, and explore Vilakazi Street, where Nelson Mandela once lived. Enjoy an authentic Shisa Nyama lunch in a vibrant township setting, savoring flavors that reflect local traditions. Spend your evening back at the hotel to relax, or, if you’re up for it, venture out to experience Johannesburg’s lively nightlife.

Day 3: Johannesburg to Waterberg Private Game Reserve

Following breakfast, bid farewell to Johannesburg as you depart for the Safari Lodge in the Waterberg, nestled in the heart of a private game reserve. Upon arrival, check-in to your luxurious accommodations and take in the breathtaking surroundings. In the afternoon, embark on your first safari adventure, led by experienced guides who will introduce you to the wonders of the African bush, from elephants to the beetles. Return to the lodge for a sumptuous dinner under the stars.

Day 4: Safari Lodge - Bush Walk and Picnic

Wake up to the sounds of the bush and enjoy a hearty breakfast before setting out on a early morning guided safari.  Mid-morning, stop for a tea of coffee surrounded by nature's beauty, creating unforgettable memories. The afternoon is yours to relax at the lodge or opt for additional activities before your afternoon game drive. On your return gather for dinner and share stories of your adventures around the campfire.

Day 5: Travel to Cape Town

After one final morning game drive and a hearty breakfast, say goodbye to the safari lodge and transfer to Johannesburg for a flight to Cape Town. Arrive in the Mother City and settle into your elegant 5-star hotel near the V&A Waterfront. In the evening, enjoy a special dinner at one of Cape Town’s popular restaurants, such as Mama Africa, where you can sample traditional dishes and lively entertainment, welcoming you to the charm of Cape Town.

Day 6: Table mountain and Signal Hill Sunset

Start the day with a trip to the iconic Table Mountain, taking the scenic cable car up to the table top. At the summit, take in panoramic views of Cape Town, the coastline, and distant mountains. After descending, spend the afternoon exploring the bustling V&A Waterfront, filled with shops, markets, and local attractions. In the evening, head to Signal Hill to witness a spectacular sunset over the city and the Atlantic Ocean, a truly magical way to end the day, it will be a Friday so if you feel like going out your host will be keen too.

Day 7: Cape Peninsula Tour

Rise and shine to a delectable breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a scenic drive to Boulders Beach, home to a colony of adorable African penguins. Spend time observing these charming creatures in their natural habitat before continuing to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. Here, marvel at the rugged coastline, dramatic cliffs, and abundant wildlife. Return to the hotel for dinner and relaxation.

Day 8: Cape Town - Wine Tour

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a family friendly wine tour of the Cape Winelands, renowned for its picturesque vineyards and award-winning wines. Sample some South African exquisite wines. There will be 4 vineyards to visit with each one having its own style and character. Return to the hotel in the afternoon to prepare for a farewell dinner which will be a real treat

Day 9: Departure Day 

After a final breakfast at the hotel, bid farewell to Cape Town as you check-out and transfer to the airport for your departure flight, concluding your unforgettable journey through South Africa. Depart with cherished memories of cultural encounters and the people, wildlife sightings and great experiences that will last a lifetime.
