Itinerary details

Day 1: Welcome to Johannesburg

From the moment you land, your South African adventure begins with thoughtful touches and impeccable service. Upon arrival at O.R. Tambo International Airport, your dedicated host and driver will be there to warmly welcome you. Enjoy a seamless transfer to your luxurious 5-star hotel in Fourways, Johannesburg’s in the vibrant Sandton district. Take some time to relax, freshen up, and settle into your stylish accommodations. In the evening, the journey kicks off with a welcome dinner at a top African restaurant in the area. Savor mouthwatering cuisine, soak in captivating views, and enjoy the rhythm of great African music setting the perfect tone for the incredible experiences ahead.

Day 2: Soweto and Culture

Today the journey continues through the struggles and triumphs of the people when we head to Soweto, the beating heart of political and cultural heritage. Explore Vilakazi Street, once home to Nelson Mandela, and enjoy a guided tour of the Hector Pieterson Memorial Site, honoring the youth who played a pivotal role in the fight against apartheid. For lunch, indulge in an authentic Shisa Nyama experience, savoring the bold and flavorful tastes of local township cuisine in a lively setting. Close the adventure with a visit to the Apartheid Museum before returning to your hotel to unwind, or, if you’re feeling adventurous, step out and discover the energy of Johannesburg’s buzzing nightlife scene and experience the Amapiano culture.

Day 3: Johannesburg to Waterberg Private Game Reserve

After breakfast bid farewell to Johannesburg and head to Ukutula private lodge to walk with the lions before transferring to your safari lodge in the private game reserve of the Waterberg. Upon arrival, check into your elegant accommodations and soak in the beauty of your surroundings. In the afternoon, set off on your first safari adventure. Guided by expert rangers, you’ll explore the African bush, encountering elephants and fascinating beetles. Return to the lodge for a delicious dinner under the stars.

Day 4: Safari Bush Relaxation

​Your adventure begins with an early wake-up call from your host, followed by a meet-up in the lobby for a cup of tea before heading out on your thrilling morning safari. Explore the wild beauty of the bush and enjoy a moment to stretch your legs, sipping tea surrounded by nature’s wonders. Then, head back to the lodge for a delicious breakfast, fueling up for the day ahead. After breakfast, unwind with a luxurious 1 hour complimentary massage, perfect for rejuvenating your body and soul while surrounded by the tranquil wilderness. Later, get ready for an afternoon safari, where you’ll encounter more of Africa’s incredible wildlife. As the day winds down, return to the lodge for a delectable dinner, sharing stories of the day’s unforgettable experiences.

Day 5: From Safari to Cape Town

Start your day with one last thrilling morning game drive, spotting wildlife as the sun rises, followed by a hearty breakfast to energize you for the journey ahead. Bid farewell to the safari lodge and transfer to Johannesburg, where you’ll catch a flight to Cape Town, the Mother City. On arrival, check into your luxurious 5-star hotel in the heart of the city.

As evening falls, ascend Table Mountain and soak in sweeping 360-degree views of the city, the Atlantic Ocean, the Twelve Apostles, and distant Robben Island.

Close the day with a sunset cruise from the vibrant V&A Waterfront, followed by a relaxed dinner at your leisure, enjoying the lively atmosphere and world-class cuisine.

Day 6: Cape Peninsula and Wine

 

Spend a spectacular day exploring the dramatic beauty of the Cape Peninsula. Travel along the scenic coastline toward Cape Point, where towering cliffs, ocean vistas, and rugged landscapes create unforgettable photo moments. Continue to Boulders Beach to witness the charming African penguin colony up close in their natural habitat. End your journey at Groot Constantia, South Africa’s oldest wine estate, where historic cellars, award-winning wines, and refined cuisine provide the perfect setting to unwind after a day of coastal adventure and natural wonder.

Day 7: Departure Day

 

After a final breakfast at the hotel, bid farewell to Cape Town as you check-out and transfer to the airport for your departure flight, concluding your unforgettable journey through South Africa.
